a. Go to https://researchequals.com/signup and fill out the sign up form in seven steps.
b. Check your inbox for an email verification link
c. Go to https://researchequals.com/settings, where you can (1) add your pronouns, (2) add a profile picture, (3) connect your ORCID, and (4) check whether your email is verified
d. Now go to the "Affiliations" tab to add your current affiliation(s). Search for your organization using the search box and select it. Click "Add" to create the affiliation. You can add multiple affiliations to your profile.
e. Go to the Bio tab to add a brief biography of your choosing. You can add hyperlinks and bold text as well. Click "Save" when you are ready.
f. You can add links to your other online profiles in the Links tab. These will be visible to everyone who views your profile – it might help to add your Mastodon, Bluesky, Github, or other weblinks 😊
g. You can now view all of the information in your profile. Go back to other steps in case you want to update it at anytime.
